Professeur Paolo Scolozzi, Born in Lugano (Switzerland). Paolo Scolozzi studied medicine at the University of Lausanne where he obtained his doctorate in 1993.
As part of his postgraduate training in maxillofacial surgery he undertook studies in dentistry at the University of Geneva, obtaining a dentist diploma in 2000.
In 2003 he received the Swiss title of specialist in Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgery.
In 2005 he completed a one year fellowship at the Biocomputation lab of Stanford University (Virtual Environment for Orthognathic Surgery).
In 2009 he was appointed Head of the Division of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery at the Department of Surgery of the University Hospital in Geneva, as well as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Geneva. In 2014 he was promoted to Full Professor and he became also the Director of the Unit of Oral Surgery and Implantology and the Unit of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Medicine of the Dental School of Geneva.
